DL here: www.l4dmods.com Survivors start in a safe area/house, with nothing. Only thing they have is an SMG and a pump shotgun. (and 75 HP 8-}) They have to gather 4-5 supplies in order to move on. To gather simply move into the area where the supplies are located, they are then automatically gathered and are returned to the safe area when the player moves back to the safe house/area. You can run around and gather them all at once or one by one. The safer way will be one by one mainly because 1/2 of the stuff you gather is returned to the safe house/area. The 5 supplies and their reward are as follows: 1. Guns – You get Tier 2 guns at the site and mollys and pipes at the safe house 2. First Aid – You get 2 health packs at the site and 2 at the safe house 3. Medical Supplies – You get 2 peels at the site and 2 at the safe house 4. Fresh food/water – You are instantly healed ~25 HP 5. Un-categorized – Currently just some pipes and mollys but will most likely drop off the list. 4 seems more, left 4 deady, heh Once you gather all 4-5 supplies your way is open to continue to the next map.

    hey i downloaded the map but i get missing textures like on the map (supplies map) and on the ! things can and on the skybox so can u fix that? or does anyone know how to fix it but besides that its quite a nice map and gamemode never thourt of that might go into moding one day

    One of the things I noticed in the vid is that you can grab many supplies in one go. I think making it a “one at a time” setup would provide more of a challenge and keep with L4D’s theme for weapon carting.

    It just makes sense that they’d need to cart all the supplies separate, as the survivors don’t have the action game “magic pockets” :) Also, If you made versus “gathering” maps, that would also give the survivors less of an advantage. My .02

    Awesome, I really liked your idea! But I just don’t like the open area map idea… Do you think you’ll ever make one campaign with this mode on a more ‘closed’ map?

    Of cource you will need to make it more balanced and challanging (like u said, panic events / tanks)

    But this map just shows that he was able to do the conecpt.
    Now all we need are some nice ideas for maps, some balancing and we got a nice new gamemode.
